    Xbox series X freezes when starting for the first time


    Im at the screen at the very beginning. I need to connect my controller, log into my account for the first time etc During this process my Xbox just freezes and nothing happens. I literally have it for 5 minutes and it already doesn't work. Any ideas in what to do?

    I got my Series X at the start of June via All Access..it was the first time I'd seen the Series X in stock somewhere since they released. Then again, I hadn't been trying very hard as my One X was still quite new

    It may be that like when the one came out that stripped back versions of the game will start being produced after the first year of the series X. Games that the series X can support, but the one can only support a down graded version.

    Some recent backwards compatible Xbox 360 downloads don't correctly recognize ownership on Xbox One and Series X/S consoles.

    Yesterday when starting my XBox Series X I got a notification that Time Pilot is ready to be started. I had it installed previously, but couldn't play it (see above).

    Because of the notification I tried to start it again and now it works!! I can start and play Time Pilot now on the XBox Series X and the problem is fixed for me.

    Maybe the problem is fixed for the other games too. Please check them.

    Thank you Microsoft for solving at least the Time Pilot problem 🙂👍
