Xbox Series X extreme Rubberbanding and Latency

A couple of weeks ago, my Xbox series X started giving me issues with latency and lag on games like Rainbow Six siege and Rocket League.

When playing r6 my game wil rubber band every other second making it unplayable, and same with rocket league.

I’ve troubleshooted that it might not be my router, as I have 800 mbps download and 200 upload, and have a good Nat type. I’ve tried changing the DNS and IP address in the manual option in settings, hasn’t worked, ive tried resetting the router hasn’t worked, reset and update console, hasn’t worked.

Switched to wired, hasn’t worked.

My ping stays at 20 while it rubber bands like it’s over 200

I’ve tried every possible solution ive thought of to fix this issue with my console but every game I play is now unplayable due to this horrific rubberbanding and latency spike.

Anyone please help me. This is becoming a very big annoyance to me and my siblings. Thanks!

You should contact your internet provider over internet issues. They have the tools to monitor your connection and find potential trouble points

Have you tried a different network? On a friend or family member house, as the problem is not the speed of the network but the stability for what you mentioned, most networks have certain variations, and some others could have very high variations that could case this

The latency shown on the network connection tab is not an accurate reading and does not resemble in game latency. The latency is the Xbox pinging the Xbox servers in Washington and not the nearest server.

If however you experience a lot of lag and rubberbanding in game I suggest trying a different cable to connect your Xbox to the interner or resetting all your network devices. As your NAT is open everything should be fine
