    Xbox series X electrical hum while completely off


    As the title stats, my console has a hum/buzz whatever you want to call it while the console is off and in energy saving mode. Only way ive found that it stops, is if i unplug the console. I know other peoppe have had this issue, but im curious to see how many people have noticed. I only hear it with my ear right on the vent, so its not a bother. I want to say its probably coil whine, but not 100% on that.

    Xbox series x fan stops spinning when Xbox series x is put to sleep or shutdown mode

    When I want to disconnect the electricity from the device, I turn off the device completely through the settings

    You should not disconnect the power from the Xbox Series X while it is in sleep or shutdown mode even if the fan does not rotate ???

    Mine makes a fan noise which could be described as buzzing but I have to go quite close to it to hear it.

    The console itself is far louder.

    Or are you referring to an electrical hum?

    If you can hear a loud electrical hum then it's probably faulty.

    Yes it's the original hdmi cable for the xbox series x. I have tried hard resetting my tv and restoring my xbox to original settings without losing my games But still the same issue. I'm not sure but can shutting off the xbox completely while on the HDR calibration app cause this issue?

    completely incorrect, they have suspended BC while they concentrate on the series x, all the 360 and og games are run in an emulator wrap, it is all software not hardware, the series x will be no different, it will also use and emulator to run the games,
    dont forget the series x is just a pc with an apu.
