Xbox Series X Edge video playback problems

It could be like the PC version entirely if the Edge dev Team would program it to function that way. This console has a GPU equivalent to an RTX 2080 and a CPU equivalent to an i5 12400. I have e-mailed the webmasters of EpochTV, but haven't received any reply.

The devs could just add the functions from the PC version. Everything is over the internet, they can just add the update to the Xbox servers for the console after they optimize the code.

I've sent feedback through the Edge browser on the Xbox Series X and by reporting through the console. Since then there hasn't been any updates to the console or browser. The locals.com site and EpochTV do not have apps for the console. I was really hoping that it would just function like the PC browser as far as playing media. Live streaming plays well without buffering or stuttering. I hope future updates won't make things even worse for some sites

• Edge can be used to watch videos, but it may run into issues with video playback on various websites, depending on whether those websites use outdated web standards.
  
• Websites that host rights-protected content, such as music or videos, may not load when using Edge on your Xbox console. To use these websites and their services, try using Edge on another device.

You've done a greater job by raising this concern with Xbox. You may also inform locals.com site and EpochTV about this issue. They handle the servers and whatever is showing on their website they manage that and not Xbox not MS Edge.

It's not as it's not a pc

You can ask the webmaster of your website to add edge user agent or give r you a mobile site to goto

Console.browsers arent full browsers they are sandboxed

And the codecs support is.limited to Windows media player standards

By using their mobile websites which are meant for limited browsers
