    Xbox series x dual voltage


    I’ve bough an Xbox series x in qatar where the mains is: 230v, 50Hz. I will be moving do Canada where the mains is: 120v, 60Hz. Will I be able to use the Xbox by itself in Canada, only getting an adapter for the wall socket, or do I have to get a transformer or anything special?

    All Xbox consoles since the Xbox One S have been dual voltage. Your series S will work fine. There is no need to buy an adaptor, all you need is what's called a Fig 8 Power Cable. They can be purchased online or from most electrical stores.

    Should look like one of these.

    XBox OneX Power Adapter for India

    The power supply is built into an Xbox One X and it has dual voltage. You do not need an adapter as it will work on 220v supplies.

    It depends on which version you have. The S and X have a dual voltage power supply built in. The Original Xbox One has an external power supply which is region specific, so would not work if the voltage is different.

    The Xbox One S has a dual voltage internal power supply and I expect Xbox One X will be the same but I have not seen this confirmed anywhere
