    Xbox series x downloading problem


    I jist got the series x, and for some reason i wasnt able to download my games . It would install for a few seconds and then be frozen and after a while it would say installation has stopped. I treid everyrhing from hard reset to factorry reset to changing
    from wifi to a wired connection. I have a xr500 nighthawk router, and decided fix some settings. Under one of the routers settings there is a VLAN/bridge settings. I enabled VLAN/bridge group and selected the first wired port( port were my wired connection
    is from xbox is connected router) and activated it. I dont know if it made the first wired port from my router into a bridge. This worked for some reason and allowed my xbox to download games. Is there a reason why this worked. Is it safe? Im not very
    good woth tech, so i dont know how i fixed it or why its working.

    I have the Xbox one X project Scorpio, I was told that the game can be downloaded in any serie X or serie S (included mine), thanks for the help!!
    Game can only be downloaded on a Series S and Series X, but not an Xbox One X. Xbox One X is not the same as a Series X.

    Ok I have both versions of GTA downloaded on my series x the Xbox one version works fine on the series x I then downloaded the series s/x version on the series x I then launched the game and it gives the error message

    Same here (Germany, Xbox Series X, Game Pass Ultimate).

    I have downloaded the Game Pass iOS app which allows me to select on which Xbox (One X or Series X) I want to install the game on but it fails with "Es ist ein Problem aufgetreten" (An Error occurred).

    Xbox Series X games / upgrades / updates has to be installed onto the Series X internal or expansion card SSD,

    You can have Xbox One games on your external hard drive that will get an Series X upgrade but the games will need to be transferred to the Series X and then the Series X upgrade will need to be downloaded onto the Series X SSD,

    As an example...

    I have Marvel Avengers on my external hard drive that will get the Series X upgrade and I will transfer the game over to the Series X SSD ready to download and update the game to the Series X version when available.

    I'm having the exact same problem.

    I have purchased a bundle with Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V: Story Mode (Xbox Series X|S)

    I've logged in on my Xbox Series X and it is downloading the normal version of Grand Theft Auto and not the Xbox Series X|S version.

    I've deleted all data and it is still downloading the normal version. I've even logged in on XBOX online and tried installing remotely but still no joy.
