    Xbox series x doesn't save home wifi password


    Hi guys is it normal for Xbox series x to not save the home wifi password? Whenever i turn on the Xbox i have to reinsert the Wi-Fi password. I'm also having the Xbox on save energy mode. Is that something normal or there is an issue with it?

    The 'App password' for the Xbox 360 is a work-around for the two step verification system available for the Xbox One/Series X|S. As the Xbox 360 doesn't support 2 step, you need to use an 'App Password' on these consoles.

    For the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, you need to use your Microsoft account password.

    It puzzles me that xbox still doesn’t have this, but I just want saved wifi networks. I travel with my xbox quite a bit so its been a bit of a constant nuisance to put in my wifi password every time I come back home.

    Saving wifi passwords

    The Xbox One automatically saves the Wi-Fi password of the access point it's currently connected to.

    If you mean saving the passwords of multiple access points, for example like bringing your Xbox back and forth to a friend's house, then it doesn't do that (as far as I've checked).
