    ***EDIT* I HAVE RECEIVED CONFIRMATION TODAY 24TH NOVEMBER THAT THE CONSOLE HAS BEEN SHIPPED AND I WILL RECEIVE IT BY FRIDAY***

    I have managed to order the Xbox Series X yesterday. I received order confirmation which said the expected delivery date is the 26th of November but on the page where you order the Xbox, it says "DUE TO INCREASED HOLIDAY DEMAND PRODUCTS WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL
    THE END OF DECEMBER", so I am a bit confused. Any help appreciated, thanks

    Well, it supposed to be delivered on launch day. Back when i pre-ordered the Xbox One, it came on launch day and I ordered from MS then as well. I still have not been charged yet though, unless they are shipping to the depots over the weekend.

    Fingers crossed they deliver on launch day.

    I would have hoped they had shipped the package by now.

    Guess it depends where they are shipping from. If they are shipping from within the U.K then there is a possibility it will be delivered on launch day.

    Yeah it's kind of annoying to be honest lol. But if they ship over the weekend, the package companies will ship them to the nearest depots, then they will go out for delivery. I have a feeling that is the plan, having said that I am still annoyed lol.

    Back when I got the 360 I preordered and just walked into a store to get it on launch day...I miss that.

    Xbox Series X compatability

    Microsoft introduces "Smart Delivery" with the Xbox Series X, which means, that if you own an existing game (like Minecraft in your example, or Gears 5) or a new game comes out for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with improved graphics on Series X, you won't
    have to buy the game twice.

    With Smart Delivery you will play the "enhanced" version on Series X, and the "normal" version on Xbox One.

    Yes AC Valhalla will be on Series X too and will use Smart Delivery (Buy it on Xbox 1 and you will get the Series X version Free )
