    Xbox Series X - Crashing


    Hey

    I’ve been having an issue with my Xbox series X for a little while now and I am starting to run out of ideas so I thought I would post it here, maybe I can get some help

    Issue - While using the YouTube application, frequently the xbox will freeze and crash to a complete power off. I have not noticed it doing the same thing with games etc however it occasionally does happen with other media such as Prime video or Netflix as well.

    What I’ve tried to fix the issue - I’ve tried going through all of the basic troubleshooting such as resetting the xbox, power cycle etc as well as reinstalling the apps however non of this has fixed the issue.

    I am running the xbox series x in full 4K HDR and I have calibrated everything as per instructions from the xbox guide. I am using a Sony AF8 television (I will link below) and have set this up with the xbox as this is all I use the TV with. I am using the original HDMI cable that came with the Xbox. Everything is plugged into an extension cord which connects straight to main power.

    If anyone has had this issue or has any ideas, I would love to hear your suggestions!

    The game is actually freezing and crashing hard, and that since the last patch.....it really annoys me, NO

    it's pissing me really off.



    I can't play normal on a Xbox Series X without a crash or a freezing Game. Playing with Xbox Series X controller, 4K HDR 60FPS , cross play enabled (without crossplay the Xbox found no Matches )



    The Game crashes 10 min into play, either when in a match or in menu.

    I have conducted following troubleshooting steps: Reset the game, reinstalled the game, reset the console completly, reset the console, removed everything and nstalled BF2042 again....

    Did you get a resolution ? I've just received a brand new xbox series x back, date on the back is 4th June 2021. (last xbox series x died)

    Every game I load results in xbox restarting or crash to the dashboard
