    Xbox Series X crashing on some games (Golden Eye 007, Arcade Paradise, Tunic) but not...


    I am having a problem with my Series X crashing with no apparent cause, and only on certain games. Media like YouTube, Paramount+, and Netflix have no issues, neither does dashboard navigation. It doesn't appear to be cooling or power related since I'm able to play games like Halo Infinite and and Starfield without problems. There are no obstructions on any side of the console for ventilation. I am also able to play less demanding games like Stardew Valley and Terraria just fine. However, when I play things like Goldeneye 007, Arcade Paradise, or Tunic, the whole console shuts off after maybe 10 minutes.

    All these games have been fully installed on the console using Game Pass. Infact, the ones that do crash I CAN play with cloud gaming, but obviously I want to download them for a better experience. Palworld is the latest to have this problem.

    Has anyone seen or heard of this issue? I have performed a factory reset, but the problem still occurs on the same games, and not the others.

    I'm 20. :) I'm surprised we haven't gotten any people saying "Well back in my day" LOL! My first game was 007 Golden Eye for the N64. Loved that game lol.

    All I want more than anything is a completely remastered version of 007: Golden Eye. This is by far one of my most favorite games and I believe it deserves The Resident Evil 2 treatment.
