    XBox Series X crashes during games, won't start


    First, console isnt even 2 years old, but I'm out of the warranty period, and cannot afford a MS repair bill right now. Hoping against hope someone has an answer here. So thanks in advance.

    Last night, I was playing Witcher 3. Went to fast travel, map texture was a black screen, but icons where there, and worked fine. Selected a destination, and the console locked up.

    Pressed the Home button, sound played and screen dimmed slightly, but no other actions from then on got a response.

    The Xbox power button began flashing in a fast double beat, then shut down completely.

    Console would power back on, but no output, fans wouldn't start up, and would not connect to controllers, or respond to the safe start (holding Bind and Eject, though initial sound plays, no response after).

    I thought it overheated, so I unplugged and let it sit for ten minutes. To which it started back up, tested with Witcher again, and after 5 minutes, stopped loading the mini map texture while traveling, and within 30 seconds repeated the initial problem.

    Going through this cycle a few more times, my kids where able to watch Bluey on Netflix for a good 2 hours, just fine.

    Tried Mechwarrior 5, and within 5 minutes, lock and crash.

    I left the console unplugged over night, and it continues, and will not start up.

    I've tried new HDMI cord, differant port, cleaning it, new outlet, soft factory reset, and nothing works.

    I'm hoping it's not a hardware failure, but seems likely.

    I have the same issue since yesterday on my series X. I Tried firing up my old Xbox and the game works on the old console, adding a car to the garage, to make sure it updates the cloud save. Then connecting series x again and the game still won't start, returns to home screen after the copyright blabla screen.

    I have reset the console and done all steps as provided as well.

    When I clear save data and go offline (taking out the cable) , I can start the game. But of course, will have to create a new horizon profile. When going back online, the game crashes again
