Xbox Series X Cost in South Africa

Dear Xbox team or Microsoft,

Why is the Xbox Series X launch price 42% higher in South Africa than US or UK? Xbox one in US is now $399 and here it is 699 which is a 15% increase due to Tax.

The Launch price for the Xbox X is R12000 which is $685 without tax. this is a 39% uplift.

It was a limited edition and appears to be out of production so it's unlikely. Perhaps future limited editions may come out in South Africa

in the meantime all you need to do is buy a memory card for a regular series X and you'll have the same thing
