    Xbox Series X Controllers will not work with iOS devices.


    I have three Xbox Series X controllers and none of them will work with any games on my iPhone and iPad. They will Bluetooth pair and show connected but will not work with any games or Xbox App. I have two Xbox One Controllers and they work fine. No its'
    not my devices, network, or Bluetooth connection. It's the new Xbox Series Controllers. All devices are on the latest iOS version and Xbox controllers are updated to the latest firmware. Anyone else have any luck getting the Series X controllers to work with
    there iOS devises?

    The Series S and X controllers work on same devices the earlier controller can connect to. This includes:

    Xbox One Game receiver for Windows 10

    Bluetooth (PC, Android, iOS)

    Xbox One, One S, X and Series X/S.

    My controller works perfect in the series X, even more, it works perfect in the apple devices mentioned using ios/tvos/ipados games. The problem is when I use it with xcloud.

    I'm on the insider program, and I have applied all the last versions of firmwares to the controller. But in previous versions of the firmware, the result was the same.

    • Known issue: Console streaming to a Windows 10 device from an Xbox Series X|S will not work through the Xbox Console Companion app.
    • Workaround: This feature is only supported through an Xbox One generation device. You can currently stream from an Xbox Series X|S console to an Android or iOS device via the Xbox app. Keep an eye on news.xbox.com for any updates on further support for additional platforms like Windows 10 devices.

    (This means that not being able to control your device with a controller was intentional. It only works in-game.)
