    Xbox Series X controllers and past controller compatibility


    Hi, I am going to buy the Xbox series X and I just got a new xbox design lab controller, but I am worried that it might not be compatible with this new xbox. I know that games will be compatible with lower resolution and frame rates, but I am not sure
    if controllers will just have a slower time getting through the xbox and my tv.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

    Thank you for your post. The Xbox Series X will allow for backward compatibility with Xbox One controllers, meaning an Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will work as normal with the Series X.
