    Xbox series x controller won't work.


    My xbox series x controller won't connect to the console itself. I try turning it on but it just wont work. I know it needs to sync to the console, but when I try syncing it the controller refuses to sync. I have tried connecting it manually via the USB cable provided, but that won't work either. Rarely, the controller will sync for a couple seconds but only the joycons work. I've paid €500 for the Xbox so it's fair if I could actually be able to use it. Someone please get back to me soon.

    Yep you do know why right ?

    Series x controllers are usb type c

    If you try and use a xbox series plug and play kit you won't have a controller left or you won't have a working cord

    Xbox one and ps4 used usb 2.0 not type c

    Controller suddenly stopped working. Lights up when plugged in, tried multiple cables. Does not show up under device manager.

    My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

    Xbox one controller

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    Hello,

    There isn't a specific adaptor for the Series X/S controllers for PC. The current adaptor works just fine with these newer controllers, however it is now in very short supply. There are third party ones available that do the same thing.

    The Xbox 360 wireless controllers use a different WIFI protocol, they need their own Xbox 360 wireless Gaming Receiver.

    Xbox One and Series X/S controllers can be connected to PC via Bluetooth, but headsets will only work with the Xbox One adaptor (or a third party version), they won't work when the controller is connected via BT

    But then if it;s the wrong battery pack, it shoudn't work with either controller ...the fact it works in one but not the other points to an issue with the second controller

    The Xbox One Venom battery pack won't even fit in the Series X controller (or at least not without trimming bits off it)..as the OP can fit the pack with no issue, it suggests it's the right battery pack. Unless Venom have released more than one battery pack for the Series X?
