    controller works perfectly when connected via the charging cable, but when i connect it wirelessly even after firmware update and updated windows to 2h2 still have the issue where in game the controller gets detected then it loses connection, then the
    xinput stops working then works again via bluetooth, when i connect the cable then the controllers works flawlessly, Please note i have reset my pc to try resolve the issue and have unpaired the controller and paired it again to see if that works but same
    issue, when in game the controller doesnt work if connected wirelessly but if i plug in the game then the controller works 100%

    Xbox Series X/S controller not pairing to Windows PC

    do you have the wireless xbox adapter for pc plugged in (needed for wireless connection), or are you using bluetooth on the pc (needed for bluetooth connection to the controller).

    the following three ways to connect the controller:

    1. USB C cable

    2. Bluetooth

    3. Wirelessly using the xbox wireless adapter for windows 10 (about 24.99 from retailers)
