  1. Xbox series X controller not connecting properly to PC (using USB-C cable)

So I understand this is a common problem with other people as I have googled multiple fixes for this but all are still to no avail. The problem being is when I try and connect try and connect to my xbox controller using a USB-C cable plugged into my PC it will either connect and then the slightest of movement will make it disconnect or it will not connect at all. (Vibrates no matter what outcome if that's any use). This happened a while back and I followed all troubleshooting steps etc and used all different USB-C cables and then magically it just started working again. That lasted for around a month and now the issue is back again. Any help would be appreciated, thanks Xbox series X controller not connecting properly to PC (using USB-C cable) :)

Electric Volt controller connect to Win10 via cable

    Hi,

Almost any USB C to USB A cable (your standard USB Phone/tablet charge cable) will work fine for PC or console gaming with a Series X type controller. I use a 2M USB C cable to connect my Series X controller to my PC.

I don't have any Bluetooth issues, but using a cable does avoid changing the batteries so much. 😁

what cable do I need to recharge my Xbox X batteries

Hello Dr. J, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

To recharge your Xbox Series X batteries, you will need a USB-C cable. The Xbox Series X comes with a USB-C port on the front of the console, which you can use to charge the batteries for your wireless controllers.

You can use a standard USB-C cable to charge the batteries. Make sure the cable supports device charging and has the ability to transfer data.

If you don't have a USB-C cable, you can also use an official Xbox battery charging kit to charge your controllers. These kits include a rechargeable battery and a charging cable specifically designed for Xbox controllers.

Remember that the USB-C cable or battery charging kit connects to the USB-C port on the front of the Xbox Series X console to charge the batteries of the wireless controllers.

    Best regards.

Adaptateur sans fil Xbox pour Windows 10

No, not necessarily. The Xbox One Wireless adapter has extra functionality, but for basic wireless use you can connect via Bluetooth. If your PC doesn't have Bluetooth a BT dongle can be purchased for less than $10/€7.

Note that the Xbox One controllers can also be connected via USB cable. The Xbox One uses a Micro USB cable, Series X controllers are USB C.

How do i get my xbox series x controller to work

Here are some steps you can try to get your Xbox Series X controller to work on your Windows 10 desktop PC:

Check for updates: Make sure your Windows 10 operating system is up-to-date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for any updates that may be available.

Install Xbox Accessories app: Make sure you have the Xbox Accessories app installed on your PC. You can download it from the Microsoft Store.

Connect your controller via USB: Connect your Xbox Series X controller to your PC using a USB cable. Make sure the cable is properly connected to both the controller and the PC.

Try a different USB port: Try connecting the controller to a different USB port on your PC. Sometimes, certain USB ports may not work properly.

Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager on your PC and check if the controller is detected. To do this, right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager. Look for any unknown devices or controllers with a yellow triangle icon. If you see any, right-click on them and select Update Driver.

Reset the controller: Try resetting your controller by pressing the small button on the back of the controller near the USB port. Hold it for a few seconds and then release it.

Try a different cable: If you have a different USB cable, try using it to connect your controller to your PC.

If none of these steps work, it's possible that your PC may not be compatible with the Xbox Series X controller. You may need to consider purchasing a different controller or upgrading your PC.

Play & Charge Kit for Xbox One

the plug n play charge battery is the same for both, it is the charging cable that is different. the series x version comes with a USB C cable and the standard xbox one comes with a micro usb cable.

i couldnt get the usb c version for my series controller so i just bought the xbox one version and use a third party usb c cable for charging.
