    Xbox series X controller lost its mind


    I was playing a game today, had played several rounds before, no problems.

    I was in the middle of a match and all of the sudden, my controller started moving the cursor on the game around by itself. I lost control of my character. The controller disconnected, center button stayed on, but it won’t re-establish a connection.

    Batteries are new. Controller doesn’t have visible wear (I take pretty good care of it). It’s not a third-party controller, it came with my console.

    I cant find any previous posts that describe it in this way. What could it be?

    This literally happened out of the blue.

    Will the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit be compatible with the Xbox Series X?

    Xbox One accessories and peripherals will be compatible with Xbox Series X. As to whether the rechargeable battery packs are compatible with an Xbox Series X controller, that has not yet been revealed at this time, to my knowledge. However, the new controller
    will use USB-C for its charging port instead of the Play & Charge Kit's Micro-USB plug.

    People complained that the One X had lost its focus, saying that it was trying to be too many things, a DVR box, a TV Tuner etc. etc.

    That's why the TV Tuner compatibility has been removed because the Xbox Series X is a games console, its made to play games.

    BackWards Compatibility

    The Xbox Series X is also supposed to support all 4 generations of Xbox, including itself, on the console. So if you hold out you may be able to play it on Xbox again soon. Now keep in mind this may not be true for specific games because at the end of the
    day, digital licenses and revenue services for games would ultimately be the decision of the developer, publisher, or IP owner.

    Connection issues with Xbox Series X/S controller to PC

    I have 2 different Xbox Series X/S controllers, one that i got with my Series X and the other I bought separately. Both have the same issue. I’m hoping it’s just a programming error, but nothing seems to work. I’m doubtful its the controllers/wire. Doubtful its the USB port (tried a few). My biggest concern is that its a hardware issue with CPU or RAM.
