xbox series x controller joysticks, triggers and dpad not working on xbox streaming app.

Hello, I have tried the options you have mentioned. I should have specified, I am on Xbox Series X. And this only happens whenever I have the Trigger-Lock on the controller set all the way up so the travel distance is tiny. When this happens and I move a joystick, the trigger will stop outputting the button in my game. I have tried Soft Resetting, trying a wired connection, and updating any firmware. The Issue appears to be in the Xbox Accessories app, whenever using the trigger and joystick at the same time, will cause the trigger to fail. Thank you. 1.press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

2. Select Console Settings, and then select System info.

3. Once you`re in the System information page, please press these buttons in sequence on the controller:

Pull the left trigger.

Pull the right trigger.

Press the X button.

Press the Y button.

Press the left bumper ( button above the left trigger ).

Press the right bumper ( button above the right trigger ).

Press Up (Dpad)

Press A

Press Left (Dpad)

Press X

Reset System Setting will come up.

Go ahead and follow the Reset steps and the pass code will not be back.

Sounds crazy, but it works.

My thumb lays naturally towards the xbox Dpad not the joystick, plus the xbox controller is almost to small for my hands so I have to roll my thumb forward to even get to the joystick on the left side. The playstation controller is thicker and and wider which fits my hand size better. So my thumbs rest more naturally with its joysticks.

Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X controllers work on Xbox Series X|S, and vice versa. However, Xbox 360 is on it's own, similar to the OG Xbox.

What's cool however is if you remote stream Xbox One, One S, One X, Series S, or Series X on, say, a PC, you can plug in a 360 controller and use it on the newer generation.

But no, newer controllers aren't supported on 360.
