Xbox Series X controller disconnects from more than 1 foot

I'm sorry you have this problem. Follow the instructions below for a solution.

Turn your console completely off and turn it back on: Press and hold the Xbox button  for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button  again to turn the controller back on.

My controller does not connect
Turn your console completely off and turn it back on by pressing and holding the Xbox  button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. Once the console turns off, unplug the power cable from the console for 30 seconds, and then plug the console back in. You must press the Xbox  button to start the console.

If your controller still won't connect to your console after completely turning your console off and then turning it back on, try connecting your controller directly to your console using a USB-C cable (or USB to micro-USB cable for Xbox One controllers).
If the control works correctly with a wired connection, continue to the next step.

If the controller does not work when connected with a USB cable, carefully check that the problem is not related to the cable or port. Try a different cable or port or connect to another device. If you have verified that the cable and port work, and the controller does not work when plugged in, you should replace the controller (see "Replace the controller" below).

Update the control firmware. You can do this on your console by pressing the Xbox  button to open the guide, then selecting Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets. Select "... on the controller you are trying to troubleshoot to check the firmware status.

If you can't update your control, go to "Further troubleshooting."

mine will disconnect if your more than a foot from the computer, but even when connected, the xbox accessories app does not see any buttons being pressed

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

Lol but it's got more features than the ps5. Double the enhanced games. Smart delivery don't have too pay for an upgrade like Playstation does. Quick resume is an awesome feature that's better than switcher. The series x has more backwards compatibility than Playstation also upscale better on backwards compatible games better than Playstation. Xbox doesn't need too change the ui, in my opinion it's still better than the ps5. Xbox will have more exclusives than ps5 due too time 2023 and on is pretty weak on Playstation on the exclusives. Gamepass is way better than ps plus subscription service. Cheaper and day 1 exclusives and more games. Series x has more features than ps5. Ps5 got a nice controller but that's all they have. Series x is more consumer friendly.

Xbox came yesterday. It works again.

And yes i tried to unplug every usb device. Of course, there wasn't any change.
