Xbox series x controller disconnected randomly, wont re-pair without restarting xbox.

The controller randomly disconnects and nearly immediately disconnects again once the controller has been turned back on. I’ve put new batteries in, I’ve re paired the controller to the system, I’ve unplugged the Xbox entirely to try and fix this.

Hi, my controller works fine with a cable. Without the cable it powers on just fine and was pairing normally until today. I can't even get my computer to see the controller now and pair them whereas before I managed to pair them, the controller just kept

i just had the same (or very similar) issue with an series x/s controller, what fixed it for me was to forget the controller from my paired bluetooth devices and re-pair it.

Please re-pair the Controller by turning off your Xbox and the controller.

Turn the console back on.

On the controller, press and hold the pairing button (the small round button on the top of the controller) until the Xbox button starts flashing.

Press the pairing button on the Xbox Series X (located on the front of the console) to re-pair the controller.

And then update the controller's firmware. Kindly connect the controller to the Xbox Series X with a USB cable.
