Xbox Series X Constantly Crashing/Restarting

So I did figure it out.

It ended up being the power supply which I bought from a third party and replaced myself. I found a decent tutorial on Ifixit. I haven't had an issue since.

I find it frustrating that the only option Microsoft gives is to send it in for a $400 fee.

Hi. I have tried all the options. I factory reset my console and thought it was fine, but then it crashed again while installing my games. I'm very confused and kind of angry right now

I’m going through the exact same thing now but it only seems to be happening on call of duty mw3, it constantly crashes every other game and sends me back to the dashboard.

Sometimes it will crash and shut down, Microsoft want to send me a refurbished replacement but mine is only 2 months old feel I’m getting the short straw of the bargain.

Did the new power cable work ? As I feel it is strange mines only doing it on call of duty since there new season update

Same here. Support depends a roll of the dice to see if their T1 support knows what they are doing. I mention this because when I get nonsense from them (like sending in your out of warranty Xbox for $300 and get a refurb unit) I just call back until I get someone who knows how to think.

We've narrowed my issue down to the accounts. I have my main, my secondary, and my son's on the device, however the resets ONLY happen during the handshake or within 60 seconds after the home screen. If I don't sign in, just go to the homepage, then the machine will NOT reset itself.

Last time this happened after a very long call, one of their leads came up with the idea of resetting my son's password since the issues started after his account was added. Well, it didn't make sense to me even working in support before, however the system worked fine for two weeks until it started again today

After factory reset twice, delete all apps, we finally got it to stay running. Then two hours later it started resetting again.
