    What will console restrictions look like on the series X? For example: my friends and I play minecraft on the xbox but would like to use a dedicated server with a server ip instead of using realms.

    Hi,

    There are no regional restrictions/lockouts for Xbox One or Series X games. Only backwards compatible 360 and original Xbox games have said restrictions.

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    It's not that this restriction has been eliminated in the new generations, it's just very rare that it still happens.

    But there are still games that have this restriction of backward compatible games.

    Since you are finding this on the X series.

    Why do I get sign-in network errors?

    This issue keeps recurring, even after clearing the MAC address. It seems Xbox sign-in is the primary issue.

    What do you mean by: “Verify that the network settings on your Xbox Series X match the network settings on your router. Make sure there are no firewall restrictions or MACaddress filtering that could block your Xbox Series X from connecting.”
