Xbox Series X - Cloud Sync / Matchmaking / Parties broken after 9/25

Good Morning!

There was a System update applied on September 25th to my Xbox Series X and a family member's Xbox One. Since that time, the ability to message anyone on my friends list. retrieve my messages and clod syncing of my data has not functioned as it should. The errors are generic and are as follows:

When attempting to view "chats" or messages:

We can't get all of your messages right now. Check back later.

Attempting to send:

"Something went wrong, message didn't send"

Syncing my Cloud data:

"Unable to sync data, there might be a temporary network issue, please try again later"

This is sporadic without any identifiable pattern. Sometimes it will work on my console, but not my son's, and vise versa.

Troubleshooting steps I've completed thus far:

* Hard power cycle of all hardware (console, network appliance)

* Successfully completed all network tests from my Xbox console - all report zero issues

* Completely reset my network, down to factory resetting my network appliance and rebuilding my network. Verified with my ISP that there have been no changes to my connection. In addition, no network issues are present anywhere else, only Xbox.

* "chatted with a gamer" since ACTUAL support options and 800.4MYXBOX isn't a thing anymore. They suggested resetting my network, which had already been done - courteous, but unhelpful

* Checked Xbox Enforcement to ensure there wasn't some "ban" on my account - there isn't

* Reset my Xbox Series X console to factory defaults, causing me to have to re-download EVERYTHING

Even after all of this, I still have the same problems since the update. It could purely be coincidental, but the entire time I've been in the Xbox ecosphere, I've never had any issues like this.

Could you share your phone's network as a hotspot and connect your console to that network and try again?

This is certainly an issue with cloud saves for starfield.

I have this issue syncing from series x to PC, and steamdeck.

cloud is taking a long time to update.

Can be fixed by just leaving your xbox running. I guess, giving it time to sync.

Any digital games or DLC you paid for are tied to the account that paid for it and the gamesaves are auto synced to the cloud.

I've got an Xbox One X and Series X and I have the digital games on both of them.

As for the gamesaves, whenever you start a game on your new console the game will sync with the cloud to download the gamesave.

Installed fh5 again it syncs starts loading then still crashes the save can't be corrupt because it works on cloud play Xbox series x don't know what to do

Your saved data would need to be stored on the cloud in order to move it to the Series X. If you had that set up before your console went out, then the games will sync the data when you start them on the Series X. Otherwise, you'd need to be able to sign into the console to enable cloud saves unfortunately.
