Xbox series X Can’t find teredo id when my networks firewall is set to high,

    Hello paul zhang1,

Thank you for your contribution to the Microsoft community.

We totally understand that you want to access Teredo on your end. If your network firewall is set to high, it may be blocking the Teredo protocol which is required for Xbox Live party chat and multiplayer gaming. Just a reminder, we are not able to access your network and check for possible issue. No worries, we can try some troubleshooting steps for your concern.

For this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check if Teredo is enabled on your Xbox console. Go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Test network connection. If Teredo is not enabled, follow the on-screen instructions to enable it.

    2. If Teredo is enabled but you still can't connect, try opening the following ports on your network firewall: UDP 3544, UDP 4500, and UDP 500.

    3. If opening the ports doesn't work, you may need to temporarily disable your network firewall to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, you can try adjusting the firewall settings to allow Teredo traffic.

If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact your network administrator or internet service provider for further assistance. They will be able to help you set everything regarding your connection for you to be able to access Teredo.

Hope I helped! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have further concerns.

Why can I not connect to the Xbox network

I have the same exact problem (Series X) it’s been happening randomly over the past month. No issues at all with any other devise on my network, but when I turn my Xbox off (set to sleep mode) upon turning back on it can’t find any wireless networks, if I type in my network it can’t find it. You have to coax it to go back and connect to a network.

Why do I get sign-in network errors?

This issue keeps recurring, even after clearing the MAC address. It seems Xbox sign-in is the primary issue.

What do you mean by: “Verify that the network settings on your Xbox Series X match the network settings on your router. Make sure there are no firewall restrictions or MACaddress filtering that could block your Xbox Series X from connecting.”

    Teredo IP not found

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    Good evening

Check network connectivity: Ensure that you have a stable and active internet connection. Verify that other network-related services and applications are functioning correctly.

Enable Teredo in your network settings: Open the Control Panel or Network and Sharing Center on your computer and navigate to the network adapter settings. Look for an option related to Teredo or IPv6 connectivity and ensure it's enabled. If it's already enabled, try disabling and re-enabling it.

Update network drivers: Outdated or incompatible network drivers can sometimes cause issues with Teredo. Visit the manufacturer's website for your network adapter and download the latest drivers. Install them on your computer and restart if necessary.

Check firewall settings: Firewalls can sometimes block Teredo traffic. Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your computer and check if the Teredo IP is now found. If it resolves the issue, reconfigure your firewall to allow Teredo traffic.

Restart the Teredo service: Open the Command Prompt with administrative privileges (right-click and choose "Run as administrator") and type the following command: netsh interface teredo set state disable. Press Enter, then type: netsh interface teredo set state type=default. Press Enter again. Finally, type: netsh interface teredo set state enable and press Enter. Restart your computer and check if the Teredo IP is now found.
