Xbox Series X broken HDMI output.

The HDMI output has stopped working on my Series X. Looks like the far side of the HDMI is broken. I have moved this console one time since setting up, seems to be a manufacturing defect. Is there anyway to get this fixed out of warranty since this should be a recall? At the point of switching to playstation

Tried calling microsoft and they hung up on me after disclosing I had to pay 300.00 and wouldn't allow me to speak to a manager or someone who would properly handle the issue.

Hi Stephanie,

The issue is the console should have come with a HDMI port that was not cheaply built and this would have never slowly broken within 2 years. Never had an issue moving around my original xbox one over since it was released and still works perfectly. This obviously a manufacturing issue on the new Xbox Series X that needs to be addressed and fixed for consumers who bought the console with the poor HDMI port.

Looks like you are losing a customer of microsoft/xbox and all the subscriptions I pay for now.

Unfortunately, since your console is no longer covered by warranty, the only way to have your console serviced through Microsoft is to check your out-of-warranty options through this link:

For an alternative solution, you can try to have your console repaired on your local electronic shops for cheaper price.

You don't need HMDI 2.1 for 4k on the Series X...you only need HDMI 2.1 to run at 4k 120Hz. The Xbox One X only ran on HDMI 2.0 but it output 4k perfectly fine.

I just wanted to let everyone know my problem was that I have a Xbox one x, not a series x and thus has a 2.0 hdmi output.
