Xbox Series X boot flicker problem

Screen goes Black on HDR with Xbox ?

You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
my problem.

If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

If the problem still persists, I recommend sending the console to Microsoft for repair. On this link, you have the instructions on how to send the console.

I cannot find the post again, but IIRC I saw people mention the electricity cable, some had to change it completely and some just had to turn it 180 degrees (switch holes/pins on Xbox energy cable).

Not 100% sure but worth a try.

Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox forums! I am sorry to hear that you struggle with flickering issues on the series X. When you mention that you are using a 4k/60hz monitor, are you using a PC monitor or TV? IF you have attempted this on three other displays and have done all other troubleshooting steps. MY recommendation is to start a service order and send in your Xbox for repair or replacement. Let me provide you with the link to how to do this.
