Xbox Series X Audio Passthrough\Dolby Atmos doesn't work for Netflix or Disney + app

Hello,

I have an issue with my Xbox series X audio passthrough and Dolby Atmos in Netflix or Disney + app. It works with my other apps, apple tv, etc. At the same time, Netflix and Disney +no longer send Dolby Atmos to AVR, although there is a label Dolby Atmos at the title and chosen track with Dolby Atmos in the application. My AVR shows a PCM input signal for this application. It happened at the beginning of December 2022, before everything was fine.

My setup is:

Xbox Series X (the last update was in December 2022) - Maybe it is the cause of my problem.

Denon AVR X3700H (the last update was in October 2022) - everything was fine after the update.

TV Samsung 75Q80T (the last update was in December 2022) - was after the problem appeared.

What I tried:

- reboot Xbox;

- reinstall Netflix and Disney;

- reset the audio setting in the Xbox and setup again (Dolby Atmos for home theatre via HDMI, and passthrough enabled);

- made factory reset for AVR and TV.

Nothing help.

I have the same issue on my Xbox Series X. Audio passthrough works perfectly fine with Disney+, Amazon Prime and Plex. When it comes to Netflix, it doesn't activate passthrough creating audio problems while playing Atmos content. The titles display Dolby Atmos, but there is no voice, only background music and sounds are played.

I am having the same issue, I can only get Dolby Surround or Stereo while using Netflix. Prime & Disney play Atmos fine.

Xbox audio settings are correct and on Atmos w/passthrough. AVR is a Denon AVRX4700H w/7.1.2

I have that exact same reciever with my Series X hooked to it and same problem. Prime and Disney transmit Atmos but everything on Netflix that has Atmos and Vision on sends the Vision but Atmos reverts to Surround. It's really annoying to the point I don't watch Netflix anymore.

I have the same problem. Used to get Atmos just fine from Netflix, and since last month it doesn't work.

The show menus say Atmos but my receiver is only getting a Dolby Surround signal. Atmos still works on my TV Netflix app.

Also not getting Atmos from the AppleTV app on the Series X.

Hi , same issue on Xbox series x and Netflix app no Dolby Atmos even though shows it on show description, Am using Hdmi lead direct to Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar , Disney plus works fine

Netflix was working few weeks ago .. so Microsoft what have you done ?

Pls fix this ASAP it would be really appreciated
