Xbox series x audio bug

After i close some games ( A plague tale requiem and ac odyssey ) i get no audio from my xbox. If i fire up the same game i do get audio while im in game but it bugs out again after i turn it off or go back to dashboard. This fixes itself when i turn off the xbox and wait a few hours. Is there any fix?

Press and hold the Xbox power button until it turns off, remove the power and HDMI cable from the console for 1 minute, then turn it back on and see if that resolves the issue.

If the problem still persists, reset the console to factory defaults while keeping games and apps.
You won't miss anything but you will need to login to your accounts again, email and password is required.

Select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console Information.
Select Reset Console.

Just to confirm, did you tried testing with a different headset? Can be a bug with your specific headset. So, worth cover this possibility

I have almost the same problem except the error message says

“if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

i think the bug could be caused by a bad usb extracion from the pc, when you insert in the xbox in these conditions it could cause a bug

i use the original hdmi of the xbox but i dont know if is the hdmi of my xbox one or my xbox series
