    Xbox series x and Xbox one crossplay with...?


    I was told Xbox series x can cross play with Xbox one with certain games... I was wondering if cross play was available for Destiny, Destiny 2, halo 5, halo infinite, halo master chief edition,Warframe, Minecraft etc all my friends are still on Xbox one and my Xbox one officially died. So I was looking into getting a new console debating just buying another Xbox one or upgrading. But if it's not compatible with my already owned games or accessories (such as controllers and headsets) and cross play isn't available with my buddies fav games it's not worth it.

    xbox series s and x are crossplay with pc, xbox one is not as stated in all of EA's documentation, they stated that xbox one and ps4 are not crossplay with pc but they are with each other, only those on pc, xbox series s/x and ps5 are fully crossplay, this is why you cannot invite each other.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. Xbox one and Xbox one X are both the Xbox one series. There is no need for crossplay. Cross play are for different platforms entirely like an Xbox one and PC or with PlayStation.

    Sorry but 2k has not announced cross-play for the game.

    Since you have to pay for the game separately on both consoles I doubt they will have Xbox One and Xbox Series X crossplay.

    Before someone says If you buy NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever Edition you get the Xbox Series X version. Yes, that edition bundles both the Xbox One version and the Xbox Series X version but is not a free upgrade or the same game.

    I have both versions.... One on a XBOX ONE and Another For the XBOX SERIES X... same issue on both systems, 3 days ago it was working fine... and would crossplay fine with my friends on the older xbox versions

    Yes, it should do. Far as I know, the only issue that a handful of games have is crossplay between Xbox One and Series X

    Usually anything that is listed for XBox One is the same for Series X (there may be exceptions of course).

    Which particular game is it? If you let us know, we may be able to find more info on it
