    Xbox Series X and Series S


    Hi,

    I own both a series x and just bought a series s. I currently own mostly physical discs for all of my games.

    If I want to system link a game like Halo:MCC between the series x and series s within the same household and over the same network I am assuming I would insert my hard disc copy into the series x and purchase a digital copy on the series s….is this logic correct thus far?

    My main questions comes from a sign-in and account standpoint. If I want to system link between the two consoles (will have both a digital on the s and the physical copy on the x in each instance unless this is not needed) and I want to benefit from purchasing a game just once (thinking digital over physical in the future might be the way to go in order to be able to play between both the series s and x, not simultaneously, should I setup separate accounts/different emails for each Xbox or will I want to sign in with the same account/email for each Xbox? Would one prohibit LAN play with the other under any of these scenarios described above?

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    Hello Xbox community, this is about Xbox series x/s versions of games!

    Because on my Xbox series x, it only shows 'Optimized for series x/s' but if a xbox series x version of a game is NOT 'optimized' how would i know if I'm playing a series x/s version of a game?

    Well first there is no series s with a bluray drive

    Xbox one s does and that isn't a series s

    Xbox one games are compatible with xbox one games whenever it is one x or s

    Series consoles are just xbox series NOT one s or x

    They labeled series consoles that way for a reason to differentiate xbox one games from series games
