Xbox Series X alerts "Online for * hour" for every hour even in Home UI or media apps...

I have done a hard reset twice now.

On my profile and the app it says the achievement was unlocked but on my Series X's achievement UI it still thinks its locked.

I'm kinda annoyed as this isn't a easy achievement to get.

Took me a hour or two of back to back attempts.

In regards to the Service Alert, there isn't an ETA on when the issue will be resolved but, we are working as fast as we can to resolve the issue. At this time, there is an Xbox Live Service Alert that has popped up regarding this issue.
I recommend requesting to be notified once the service alert has concluded by going to the Xbox Live Status pageand
selecting Notify Me for a one-time only text. Should the issue continue after the service alert has concluded, and after you perform a power cycle to the console, please feel free to make a new thread detailing your issue.

Getting the same issue on my Series X. Already almost six hours of gametime in, and the error seems to pop every hour or so

Same issue however it's not an Xbox console issue as I have the same problem from PC with the Xbox App and Game Bar as well as my Xbox 360 console. I was playing with friends today and had my laptop nearby for texting on the Xbox App as some of my audio doesn't always make it through on the voice chat and every 20-30 minutes or so the Xbox App for PC would alert me to one of my friend's being online whom I was already in the game and playing with. It did this for several hours while we played, stopped for a bit and then started alerting me again about 2 hours or so ago that he was online every 20-30 minutes again. On top of this, I was wasting some time playing MS Mahjong on PC and about every 10 minutes or so for a full hour Game Bar would suddenly alert me that I had started playing MS Mahjong. Why do I need to know that I started playing it, and why was it even popping up when I'd been playing for nearly an hour?

Again, this is NOT a console issue and clearing the cache will do nothing. Friend status has been messed up for more than a week or so now. It tells me I'm on my Xbox 360 Dashboard 5+ hours after I shut it down. It tells me the friends I had played a game with earlier in the day were still in the game 5+ hours after it was shut off (they have confirmed they were no longer even online many times to me when I've asked during the last week or so). I'm also being alerted on the Xbox 360 console itself of 1 friend in particular that seems to be signing online constantly and asking them about it finally to see if they were having internet issues or something they said they were online the entire time with no issues but there's that pop up telling me they signed online every few minutes or so.

I've reported this issue in the Feedback Hub and on the Live Status page already and nothing has been done about it yet.

Hey steve585, have you tried doing a simple power cycle on the Xbox? If it is the software, it can sometimes be fixed by a reset.
