Dude those so called 1080 games are not even native 1080 you need to educate yourself before you comment and I've read nothing wrong and im not the only person that feels this way the series s was advertised as a 2k 120hz console but most games are not even running that at a native resolution its up scaled that's why stuff looks blurry no duh the consoles have different hardware i have both xbox series s and x and a pc with a 2060 and the series x is advertised as 4k 120hz but barely any games can do that sooo is Microsoft lying about what the consoles can do or is the game developers too slow to make a decent running game

I agree. I went out and bought a new oled TV so that I would be gaming in 4k at 120fps. But I don't want to play COD or Halo. Lol.

I'm actually pretty upset as well. All we heard was how we would need a tv that supports 2.1 HDMI, so people like myself dropped a couple grand on one. The series x was all about 120fps and 4k, so I had to drop 800 to get one when they first came out! Yeah.....if I'd have known that 99% of games or developers wouldn't take advantage, I never would have upgraded either.

If its capable of performing as advertised i wouldn't be here i wouldn't be here if games was running a full native 4k 60fps but its not even capable of that its performing 1/4 of advertised performance you can try and defend false advertisement all you want but it shouldn't say 4k 120hz on the box ! It doesn't on the last gen consoles it just says 4k they also lied saying the series x is more powerful than the ps5 but its not

But game developers choose to use the power available to them in different ways. In theory I can run Pac-Man at 32k at 2000 fps. But why?

Games are all unique, and they all have very different needs. There is a finite amount of computing pioneer available, ansd t games will grow to fill it with environments, physics, AI characters. Download Disney Dreamlight right now and you'll see it has an experimental mode for objects in the world it's tracking which is doubled on Series to 6000

It's not a button you push, it's a design choice subject to the needs of the game. There is a finite amount of power available.

The idea you're going to see 4K/120 across the board on a system that costs half of what just the top of the line PC GPU, which struggles with what you're asking for on many games, is not realistic.
