Xbox Series S/X Controller sometimes wont respond until i press it again or mash it or hold...

Hello Jesse thanks for the reply brother. I don't see the firmware update on my console. And i tried the power cycle to clear the cache did that since i was looking for a same problem on google. and i saw that one but it really didnt help me in the problem i got.

Yeah that's cool brother. just wished i i could play xbox flawlessly and with no issues cause i love the s and even more the X series but sold it cause i thought it was something to do with the black console cause in my lifetime i always owned a white consoles and first time buying it brand new was this summer.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

Well after plug in the new controller the same issues happened the buttons sometimes wont register until u pressed them 2nd or 3rd times and thats not a 1 specific button its all of them happens often but not always like i can play but its very annoying when typing messages to friend so or games locker codes.

Microsoft is aware of the issue as it is stated in the update notes for insiders.

They statement read "We’ve received some reports that users’ controllers are randomly losing sync or disconnecting from the console. If you encounter this behavior please make sure and report this issue after reconnecting."
