Xbox Series S won't connect to wireless network

Sorry to hear about the issue. What exactly is the error message are you getting there? When did this issue start to occur?

Have you tried connecting your console to a different network like your mobile data hotspot?

I’ve owned both the Series S and now Series X and have ran into this issue before. With power cycling the system and your internet router but still no connection, I want you to go back to settings, network, and then under network click on your advanced settings tab. You should see an option that says “Clear Alternate MAC Address”. This option should clear up any connection issues between the console and router. After doing this, I would recommend doing a reset of both one more time. About 60 seconds before plugging either back in should be good. If the issue still persists, let us know and we’ll be happy to move forward with other troubleshooting steps.

What console are you referring to - Xbox 360, Xbox One or Series X|S? What exactly happens when you try to connect/sync the controller?

For Xbox 360:

Hi,

The Series X|S and Xbox One controllers are not compatible with the old Wireless Gaming Receiver used to connect Xbox 360 wireless controllers to a PC device. However, they do support connection to a PC via Bluetooth.
