XBOX SERIES S WITH WEBCAM

Ok so basicaly i stream directly from my xbox to twitch and currently us a kinect for a webcam, now im wondering as the new xbox series s/x dont support kinect if there is anyway yo link up a webcam of sorts for this does the xbox support this? Please let
me know! (I didnt know what to list this under for category)

The Xbox One does support webcams, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Series X/S might too.

We are sorry to hear that. It seems that the Nexigo N60 webcam is compatible with Xbox Series S but when you got to stream, the webcam is not recognized by the system of Xbox Series S.

Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

1. When did thee issue start?
   
2. Was this working before?
   
3. Recent activity or changes made before the issue appeared?
   

These above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we have gathered all the information, we will formulate the viable solution to help you with your case.

For the meantime, there are some things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Make sure that your Xbox Series S is updated to the latest version.
   
2. Try plugging the webcam into a different USB port on your Xbox Series S.
   
3. Try plugging the webcam into a different device to see if it works.
   
4. Check if your webcam is listed in the Xbox Series S settings under “Devices & Accessories” > “Webcams” > “Add a webcam”.

You can try checking if your camera is set to On in the guide by going to Capture & share > Live streaming > Camera options. If that doesn’t work, you can try validating your webcam is working with Skype on the console.

Not all webcams are compatible with Xbox Series S. You need a 1080p webcam that has a YUY2 or NV12 format to stream with it. Most Logitech and Microsoft LifeCam webcams have this format1. Some webcams compatible with Xbox Series S include Logitech C925-e, Logitech C920, Razer Kiyo, Logitech C270, Logitech C625, Angetube 967 with Xbox One S and Nexigo N660 with Xbox One S.
