    Xbox Series S wifi problems with spiking


    Hi all,

    Naturally ive scoured the internet and tried all solutions recommended including getting the insider app. I just bought my series s and there seems to be problems with the wifi spiking. The only difference is the xbox series s is where my xbox one Day 1 version used to be. On here i noticed people posting that there were same problems mainly with users of both series s and x playing through wifi on COD. I play nhl21 which shows your network performance and its shows going from 70-90ms(which is normal) then will spike to over 1000ms. So its definitely the wifi receiver.



    Were there any new solutions to this? The other threads are quite old

    I should not have to do this so often again, my trusty Xbox one stays connected/logged into my wifi all the time every time. It’s the Xbox series s that’s the problem. I literally tested them side by side and guess which Xbox had no trouble signing into my wifi

    I have the same issue.

    Controller and headset both disconnect or have some sort interference. Never had a problem on my Xbox One or Series S. But the problem is persistent on Series X.

    Have tried all sorts of things like disabling all wifi and getting a new router. Nothing helps.
