    So my mom bought me a series s for me last Christmas. When she made the purchase, she didn't buy a warranty because our previous console, the xbox one, lasted well over 7+ years with no problems. Just 3 month into using the console it just stopped turning on completely. I knew we didn't buy a warranty, but it came with a free limited warranty that covered certain aspects of damage under microsoft so we sent it over to Microsoft repair. After 3 weeks of waiting they called and informed us that they couldn't fix it, as it wasn't covered under the limited warning (Meaning the problem is overheating, physical damage, or water damage). They then sent the console back us to pick up, and gave us some documentation that just said it wasnt covered under microsofts limited warning. Note that there was absolutely no chance of physical damage, as it was NEVER dropped, nor was it kept near any liquids. It was on an open, wide table with the TV, separated from drinks, had a wide space to prevent overheating, and was too far from the edge to fall. The only thing that I consider is a possibility is overheating problem, but I have no clue how that would have happened. I don't know whether to just take it to a repair shop or what but it just feels like xbox gave us a faulty system. At this point it just makes me want to switch over to Playstation. Any advice, where could I go to get it fixed?

    Oh, sorry for the confusion, and as I have checked, there is no official announcement from Microsoft. Personally, I own an Xbox Series S, from Xbox One S I purchased the Xbox Series S and so far, everything is working perfect for me.

    Well i experienced the corrupt profile in GoW3 . I couldn't play the game for 3 months but after they fixed the problem everything worked fine. I was mad but at least they fixed te corrupt profile issues. I only hope this thime the game work how must be
