Xbox Series S Stolen!

My car was stolen and my daughters Xbox Series S was in the car. is there any way to locate the Xbox or at least make it to where they cant use it. like when you google lock a phone. I just hate knowing somebody is probably having fun on my dime. anything would be helpful

The police will have to work with Microsoft on any tracking of it. It requires a subpoena

Sorry to hear your car got stolen. We can at least prevent the thief from using your account by changing your password.

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Sign in to your Microsoft account

Go to Security > Password security.

Select Change my password to reset the password for your Microsoft account.

Verify that you’re the account owner by receiving a security code.

Enter your current password.

Enter and confirm your new password.

Once they go online, they will be prompted to enter the new password and will not have access to it until they do.

Yeah, if something gets stolen, call the police. You'll also want to change the password(s) on your account(s) so they can't be accessed from the stolen Xbox. You may also wish to contact Support and report the stolen console/ accounts just in case credit
card info has been used, or something's been done on or to the account that would get it banned.
