    xbox series s remote play on Mac?


    So I just bought series s and I have a MacBook. I want to be able to play it on my MacBook via remote play but I don't know how. I tried onecast but it was working for xbox one only. I don't have a M1 chipped MacBook so I cannot download the xbox iOS app. Also, I don't have enough space to download windows 10 which is also inconvenient to switch for only one app. So is there anyone who was able to figure out how to play xbox via remote play on Mac ?

    Series X/S not available in Beta app.

    Xbox Series X and S are out of luck for now.

    Have you went through the steps of turning on remote play on the console? What are you using to use the remote play options ie: computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone? You have to go through the settings to set it up. You can follow this link and it will give you step by step instructions:

    I just tried the xcloud service directly from my series s and it worked absolutely flawless.

    Now I am even more confused than before.

    Why can I play cloud games directly from my Xbox in an astounding quality but it is not possible to remote play from Xbox to pc/ipad.

    But what confuses me even more is that it works perfectly with ps remote play.

    Just tested steam remote play from the PC to the iPad and that also worked wonderfully.

    Maybe it's an general problem with the series s/x consoles?

    Remote play on Mac

    Since the remote play is truely a feature of Windows 10 playing on a mac without Windows 10 will not work.

    I can confirm however that running a windows 10 parallels VM will in fact let you play and stream the xbox from my macbook pro.
