    Hello, I have had my Xbox for about 4 months and have noticed that even when turned off (still plugged in) you can hear a very quiet noise. The only way I can describe it is a fuzzy scratching. Is this bad?

    That's what I am done,put my series s on energy saving and then select full shutdown after that I hear noises on the left side of series s and it won't stop noising unless I unplug it

    Its the same noises as yours ? maybe software related?
    I hear the same noise on my Series S (only the first 5 seconds of the first video). For some unknown reason, it's a lot more noticeable when I'm on the Home Screen and I really need to be close to it (like inches away from it) to be able to hear that noise.

    My Xbox series s fan while playing fortnite gets loud but not that loud and I got it five months and when I play Minecraft it sounds normal but when I play fortnite chapter 5 season 3 it gets loud

    Thank you for replying, vertical placement for the Xbox Series S may restrict airflow try placing it horizontally with some space around it to see if the fan noises stop.
