XBOX Series S | Lagging

So I've looked around for support but can't find any topics for this problem I'm having...

It appears that ever since 10/15/2023 my XBOX Series S Console has been experiencing severe lag issues when on games, just to confirm this is the actual UI having lag problems the game itself works fine. Whenever I press the XBOX home button it has a 5-8 second delay and this happens whenever I'm going to my messages or my someone's profile however if I quit off the game and do those actions it doesn't lag at all....

I've had my Series S console for 11 months now so It does bring concern when It's acting up this early, any support or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

And it still lags but my wifi works with other devices including a different xbox series s

My Xbox series s i think it's getting heat and its lagging some times on forza for a few seconds and its lagging on nfs heat but i can press xbox button and get out from the game and it was lagging on apex mabye for 5 second but in cod warzone i don't think its lagging ( wierd connection)

Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

Did you try performing a factory reset but keeping your games and apps?

Factory reset can be done by opening Settings > System > Console info > reset.
