    Xbox was working fine then we turned it on yesterday and it kept taking us to the bottom of the home screen and not letting me scroll up or sideways, if I press Y to search it works fine and get into a game it works fine so it's not the controller. If I press the home button for that menu it does the same thing. I tried a few hard resets but didn't fix it so I done a format which did but when we turned it on again a few hours later it was glitching again so I performed another hard reset and formatting but neither fixed it. Is the Xbox broken or is there a way I can fix this. It's not even 2 years old.

    Do you have any other devices connected to the Xbox?

    Since you already did several console software resets, it sounds like stick drift or a faulty button. Try testing with another controller, or start the Xbox without the controller powered on to see if it still happens.

    Why will games not go to the download queue and download on my Xbox series s.

    I did this last resort full reset. I was unable to download any of the games I own after this full reset. I assume that this means my Xbox series s’s hard drive is faulty. Am I right with this assumption?

    Gamerscore dropped by about 80k

    If the gamescore is missing from games on the Xbox One or Series S/X it's a random glitch that happens occasionally and usually will fix itself on its own after a few days.

    If it's from 360 games, it could be a gamerscore reset.
