XBOX SERIES S keeps auto scrolling down after turned on

No I don’t have a external hard drive plugged into my console I’m gonna try to turn it off and follow the steps I’ll let you know when it’s done has this been happening a lot?

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues, Treston.

Also, if that still didn't work, please follow the steps below:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Unplug your console for 5 minutes.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly try accessing the Xbox Troubleshooter page and we may need to reset your console to factory default keeping your games and app. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the Pair button and then press the Xbox button on the console.

4. Continue holding the Pair button for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair button after the second power-up tone.

6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Once you're on the Xbox Troubleshooter page click on "Reset this Xbox" and then "Reset and keep my games and apps".
