Morning,

We tried powering down both consoles (over night) at the weekend.

Unfortunately it didn't make any difference,

I've logged a support ticket with Epic to see if they can transfer the stuff instead.

It looks like an Xbox account thing rather than an Epic thing.

On my profile I see this ...





When I click the "Claim for different account" button it tells me ...





So we switch to my son's account and look in "Account > Profile > Included "



and we see exactly the same thing ...





We are on the same Xbox Series S and it's My Home Xbox.

I'm sorry the workaround didn't work. It is really very strange that you cannot transfer the data when choosing the option to claim for another account.

For these types of problems, Xbox support always recommends restarting the console, so that any defects in the software can be repaired. If you wish to do so, I leave you with the recommended steps:

Reset type 1:

1. Press and hold the Xbox button  located in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Home/Stop center.

2. Select Restart console.

3. Select Restart.

Disconnect and reconnect the console power cable:

1. Turn off the console by pressing the Xbox Button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it turns off completely.

2. Disconnect the power cable from the console. Wait ten seconds.

Important: Make sure you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox Button  on the console to turn it on again.

To resolve your question, I was researching the Epic Games help forum and they suggest the following steps to link a family member or friend's account:

Since you can link your Rocket League account with an Epic Games account, you can also link all your Rocket League accounts to access a shared inventory.

1. Visit https://www.rocketleague.com/activate/

2. Click Sign In and sign in with your Epic Games account.

3. Click Review Settings.

4. You will have the option to link any additional accounts that you have not yet linked, such as PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Switch.

Note: To link platforms or play Rocket League, you must add your date of birth to your Epic Games account.

5. After linking the accounts, it is time to select the account you want to have as the primary account.

6. Primary account level, ranks, and Rocket Pass progress will be used for all linked platforms.

Existing inventory on each platform will be shared. New items you earn in-game will be associated with the main platform for as long as they are linked.

Note: Credits and Esports Tokens will not be combined, but will be accessible on the platform they were purchased on. If you unlink accounts, all items will remain on the platform on which they were purchased or obtained. Platform-specific items will remain exclusive to that platform and will only be available when playing on that device.

Choose carefully, as you can only change your primary platform once every 24 hours.

6. Confirm and everything is ready. Enjoy your linked Rocket League accounts!
