    Xbox series S for travel, X at home. Which to set as "home Xbox"?


    I recently purchased an Xbox series s for travel. I already have an Xbox series x at home that doesn't leave (and is connected to the internet outside of an outage). I realized that I can't play games I own on the series s when it's not connected to the internet, which will likely happen from time to time. I could set it as my home Xbox to enable offline play, but Microsoft notes the home Xbox should be the primary one used (which for me is the series x that stays at home). I don't want to mess anything up on my primary Xbox (series x). What is the best course of action for this?

    No. As long as you're signed in on the non-Home console, you can access everything.
    Thanks for the information. I'm guessing setting the console to home but being offline only grants access to the titles I own, not gamepass games correct?

    You can as long as you're able to sign in once every 30 days to verify the license for it though.

    No. As long as you're signed in on the non-Home console, you can access everything.

    Unless you're sharing with other people, you may want to set your Series S as your Home since it will be used offline more often.
    I wouldn't be sharing it with anyone. Would that cause issues with my other console? In terms of accessing my digital titles, gamepass, etc?
