Xbox Series S Fan isn't humming like normal.

Also, if the console is overheating that's the time that we also need to check options such as changing position or getting the console repaired.

As long as everything is working just fine, and the fan is also working no need to worry.

So usually when I play on my series s the fan makes a loudish noise....

The Series S, just like the Series X is designed to be quite, in normal gaming (even when play X|S optimised games) the Series S fan should not be audible. It should be pretty much silent.

Have you changed the location of where your console is located? These consoles get warm (hot even), this is normal. So their location is actually more important than hearing the fan spinning.

My power brick is also making a hum that sounds like a little fan. It only happends in Instant-On mode, when theres a white light. I guess that means its normal.

A "wooshing" noise, like gusts of wind? For the Xbox One X, this is normal, because it has a different kind of cooling system compared to the original Xbox One and Xbox One S.

My One X typically runs at a quiet hum, but when I'm playing enhanced games for example, I occasionally hear my console revving up the fan with a "woosh" to expel all of that heat, then it goes back to quiet for a while.

What kind of noises do you hear?

I'd imagine the noises it would normally make are probably a hum from the fan or coil whine (maybe).
