I’m having the same problem, the disc literally says it’s multi system playable, it says series x/s and Xbox one on it, my disc spins a few times then stops, Xbox doesn’t do anything. No error message or anything

There are too many variables. How was that Series S treated? Electronics have parts that can fail from age, so new old stock doesn’t mean anything in terms of longevity.

I would get a Series S because it has the most longevity that matters- new software availability.

My fiancé plays them perfectly fine on his Xbox one s. He doesn’t have a series s yet.

If you have an Xbox Series S, press and hold the Xbox button  and the Pair button  instead, as your console doesn’t have an Eject button.
