Xbox Series S disconnects randomly from wired connection

I’ve been endlessly redirected back to the troubleshooting network page as if I didn’t originally start there and it didn’t in the slightest help figure out what the issue was. I figured out the solution on my own and for anyone facing a similar issue, here’s how I fixed it:

Settings>Network Settings>Test Multiplayer Connection (this will tell you if your console is capable of maintaining a connection to xbox live)

After the test, press both triggers and bumpers to see the detailed statistics determined from the test. My connection was blocked by a NAT port which I didn’t understand, but after some quick research I was able to navigate through the advanced settings of my router through the digital app for the wi-fi I use, and was able to assign a specific port to my xbox that was able to communicate with Xbox Live. This was done by an IP Reservation which guarantees that my system will be in a sense prioritized as long as the internet in my home is functional. Do some research on port forwarding, and also look into which ports Xbox uses and assign that port to your console. This fixed my issue and hopefully it helps yours.

Hello I’ve been having similar issues for the past month with my series X but I’m using a wireless connection I’ve tried everything that was recommended but when I run tests it tells me nothing is wrong I get disconnected from movies tv shows or games when I get disconnected I get error message that my Ethernet cable isn’t connected but I use wireless whenever I try to check the Xbox support app I always gives me a error message to try again later but it never works and I’ve noticed that my ports keep changing I’m not sure if that’s got something to do with it as well my download speed is always above 150 mbps and upload speed is always above 100 mbps I always have 0% packet loss and my wireless strength is always at 100% I’ve tried calling support a couple different times but I never get any answer to my problem I hope someone on here can help me

Is this shown as a message or error somewhere? If so is it on the Xbox itself or the router settings?

Is your Series X connected wirelessly or wired? Does the issue persist if you disconnect your Xbox One S from the network?
