Xbox Series S Copilot very laggy

I understand you need help with a controller problem.

You may want to try resetting the console and update it again to see if this helps.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

Thank you for your reply. It only happens on certain games. Namely Sonic Frontiers. This makes me think it’s a problem with the game not liking copilot for some reason because basically every other game works great. So I guess it started when I got the game. I’ve never heard of any other game react this way to copilot. I am copiloting on my Xbox series S console. Thank you for any assistance but I realize this is an incredibly specific issue

Just wondering since you got the same console as me (series s). Have you tried recording game clips? because when I do they are very laggy and like with micro stutters / fps drops

It's very easy how to check which version of the game you bought. Check the game case. If it says, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S, then you have the Xbox One version of the game. If it just says Xbox Series X|S, then you have the Xbox Series X|S version.
